CK Seniors: 10 Years Out - San Antonio HS Senior Photographer

I'm starting another project. It's called CKSeniors 10 Years Out. If you are in the image below (make sure to click on the image, there's 42 people in it), contact me. I want to photograph you now. It will be kinda like a "where are they now" story. If you're interested, and you graduated from high school in 2008 (or before), and we did your senior portraits, give us a call. This is going to be a fun, and interesting project, and it won't cost you a dime (it's free). Every one else (all the rest of our CK Senior Alumni), when we get to your 10 year mark, give us a call. Let's see how many of you will participate. Don't wait, be the first one call us today.....

RHS Cadette Dance Team 2018 - San Antonio Creative Photography

I’ve had the privilege of watching some of these dancers for four years now. It’s amazing how much they change in that short time span. It’s always a pleasure photographing these young ladies because they are so polite and cordial. It’s funny, I watched the first video we made 4 years ago, and some of the dancers are still full of life. A great lesson to the rest of of us. Anyway, Ms. Bauer does a great job with these young ladies. Here’s a short, fun video from our session with them. Enjoy it while it lasts…..

LEE High School Dance 2018

It's hard to believe this is the 4th year we've been photographing the LEE HS Dance team.  Miss Tina is the best.  We learned this year that she won Teacher of the Year award last year at her school.  She does the best job with the girls she works with.  To see some of their progress from year one to now is incredible.  It never ceases to amaze me how creative these girls get when it comes to their individual poses.  And I get to capture them, that one moment in time, forever.  Here's a video we put together from the session.  Remember us for your senior portraits....  Enjoy.

James Madison Dollies Dance Team 2018 - San Antonio Photographer

I can't believe this is our 15th year photographing the JM Dollie Dance Team.  Of course, it's always fun working with such talented young ladies.  Mrs. Shelly Flynn does a phenomenal job with these girls as their Dance Team Coach.  In all honesty, they are one of the most spunky, talented, and creative teams in our area.  There's never a dull moment either.  They are constantly laughing and being silly, so you can't help but smile and enjoy the ride. Congratulations Dollies to another year of growth and success. Here's a video from the session

The Girl with the Big Smile - Miss Clarissa - San Antonio High School Senior Photographer

Miss Clarissa is a senior from Smithson Valley HS.  She's outgoing, and likes to make people laugh.  We came to meet because of her mom.  We went to school together.  I believe it was Geometry class.  Who'd have thought, years later, she'd be entrusting me to create her daughter's senior portraits?  Anyway, Clarissa wants to become a veterinarian.  She's hopeful to attend Texas A&M next Fall.  Michelle kept saying she couldn't believe how calm and relaxed she was during the session.  I wasn't surprised.  She's a natural in front of the camera.  It made my job so much easier.  Maybe it has something to do with me, but we got the best of Clarissa, and the images were out-of-this-world beautiful.  When I asked her to describe her "one portrait" that would capture her true self, she said, "in my flower dress, in a field, laughing".  We were in a field of flowers and "what do you know", we got the shot.  We got so many good images that her mom said that she would have a hard time choosing.  I just told her to put us on her bank account and we'd be good.  Clarissa has a sense of humor, loves to smile, and a big heart.  She never seems to let things tear her down.  Maybe it's her faith, but she seems to be headed in the right direction with the right attitude.  We certainly wish the best for her, especially with her walk with the Lord.  If you ever need a "Pick-Me-Up", Clarissa is the one to call.  She's got a pep in her step, and her smile lasts awhile.  Clarissa, may all your dreams come true, and you bring light into the world, making it a better place because you are in it.  You can view a video of her, here.  Enjoy.....

The Future of Acting - Mr. Nathan - San Antonio High School Senior Photographer

We had the fortune of capturing Nathan, a senior at Steele HS the other day.  We photographed his sister a few years back, so now it was lil' bro's turn.  Nathan is a witty, reserved, and discerning young man.  He wants to study theater next Fall at TLU.  When he's done with his formal eduation, he plans on becoming an actor.  Either in theater or film, his plan is to stay local, then move on if it's in his stars.  Nathan brought his dog, Gwen.  She was one of the best behaved dogs we've had out to the studio.  Even though she seemed out of breath having to walk with Nathan for a couple of images, she was a trooper.  The highlight of the session was getting a glimpse into Nathan's favorite game, Dungeons and Dragons.  I didn't know it was that complex.  We staged a portrait of him playing "himselves".  Kinda turned out pretty cool.  Anyway, Nathan is one that I won't have any reservations when it comes to being a responsible citizen, his maturity stands out even if some say he can be a little nerdy (those are his words, not mine).  Nathan, may your dreams become real as you entertain, as well as impact the world with your talents.  Here's a short video from his session.
